Location: Home /Primary undertile heating

Primary undertile heating

This type of system is used for under tiles where the heat losses are high, i.e. conservatories or areas with a lot of glass. If the property is an old house with poor insulation values please call our free phone help line to see if primary heating can be achieved. We also recommend our CUboard which is an insulation board designed to make your floors more efficient and give a quicker heat up time.

10W/m loose cable system

Loose cable systems are used for tricky shaped areas such as small bathrooms where the 500mm wide 200Watt mats can’t be laid.

200 W/m2 mattted system

The Matted system is used for larger room sizes where you can run the 500mm wide mat. You can only lay the mat direct onto a Concrete Base, if you have a wood base then the CUboards will need to be used as well. We recommend this style of system on anything over 2m². This is a quicker way to install floor heating as the cable is pre-spaced and the mesh is completely sticky so when laid the mat is completely flat.
