DIY underfloor heating cable

Cucable is the same triple-insulated, twin-wire element that is incorporated into our mats, but here, it is sold on a reel for projects that involve especially complex room configurations. Although it requires more time to lay when compared with CUmat, it is ideal for use in smaller rooms and whenever there are several obstacles to contend with.

The dual wire construction ensures electro-magnetic emissions are virtually eliminated and means that there is no need to route both ends of the cable back to a single connection point.

CUcable can be installed to match power outputs in the range 100 to 200 w/m² and, like the CUmat, it is intended for use with CUcontrol digital programmable thermostats.

CUcable is sold in standard lengths of between 18m and 84m. Each pack includes a 4m length of factory-fitted cold lead wire, guarantee card, cable fixing tape and full installation instructions.
