Comfort Heating
Comfort Heating is designed primarily to take the the cold edge off the floor making the room more comfortable to live in. For this type of heating we can supply a 160W/m or a 120W/m. The 160W/m is designed for use on concrete subfloors with tiles, stone or in a concrete screed. The 120W/m is designed for use on wood floors where only a low power output is possible in accordance with European standards. If the subfloor is plywood it has to be a heat treated wood (marine ply). This is because untreated wood has the potential to expand and bow under the heat of the mat. All of the mats are 500mm wide and have a cold tail of 4m. To ensure the heating is sufficient we offer technical and design assistance, please CONTACT US and we will be only to happy to help.
